The 18 holes follow the gentle contours of the foothills, through dense woodlands and over meandering streams. Wildlife abounds throughout the property, as natural habitats remain untouched and preserved. Deer, turkey, groundhog, red fox and rabbit are just some of the species that choose Goodyear as their home. Split rail fencing and stone masonry accent the course and highlight the rustic surroundings.
With four sets of tees, ranging from 4,903 to 6,566 yards, the course can accommodate golfers of all abilities. Goodyear is regularly challenged by some of the best golfers in Southside Virginia and the Triangle of North Carolina. Quick Bentgrass greens and thick Bermuda fairways provide some of the most remarkable playing conditions in the region.
Goodyear Golf Club offers a separate practice area to hone your skills. Our facility features a putting green, chipping area, bunker, main teeing area and a teaching tee for private lessons, which are available through appointment.
